Modern Mechanical Ice Systems was proud to play a key role in the construction of the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena, a premier facility designed to meet the growing demand for ice sports in Watertown and the surrounding area. Hockey has seen rapid growth in the region, creating a strong need for a high-quality rink that could serve youth programs, high school teams, and recreational players alike.
Our team delivered the complete mechanical systems and ice-making infrastructure, including a high-efficiency custom built 180-ton Ammonia chiller and 2 concrete rink floors designed for durability and consistent performance. By combining advanced technology with precision installation, we built a system that reduces operating costs, maximizes energy efficiency, and ensures top-quality ice conditions for every game, practice, and event.
