Modern Mechanical Ice Systems is proud to have been part of an important renovation project at the Fairgrounds Arena in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a multi-purpose facility hosting hockey, skating, and a variety of community events, the arena required significant upgrades to maintain its performance and reliability for years to come.

Our scope of work included the complete demolition and removal of the existing rink floor, followed by the installation of a new, precision-poured concrete slab engineered for ice rink use. The new floor was constructed to exact specifications, ensuring the durability, flatness, and thermal performance needed to support a top-quality ice surface.

Throughout the project, our team maintained a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and attention to detail — delivering a finished product that will continue to serve the Winston-Salem community and its ice programs well into the future.
